Your Basement is Dry. Now Let's Make It a Room.

Morgan manages complete basement finishing projects (drywall, electrical, flooring, plumbing, paint) using the same trusted tradespeople we've worked with for decades.

The Morgan Standard

A written proposal at every inspection. A finished basement when we're done.

When we finish a waterproofing, mold, or foundation job, the basement is clean and dry and solid, but not "finished". The drywall may be gone. The walls are bare concrete. It's definitely not ready for regular use.

Most homeowners then have to start over with a whole new set of contractors. We'd like to save you that step.

Morgan manages basement finishing projects from start to finish. We write the contract, schedule the work, and supervise every trade — the same electricians, plumbers, drywall crews, and painters we've been working with for years. You deal with us. We handle the rest.

What's Included?

Every finishing project is different, so we scope each one individually after the primary work is done. In general, a complete basement finishing project can include:

  • Framing and drywall
  • Electrical: outlets, switches, recessed lighting, panel work if needed
  • Plumbing: bathrooms, wet bars, utility sinks
  • Flooring: LVP, tile, carpet, or whatever fits the space
  • Paint and trim
  • Egress windows if the space will be used as a bedroom or living area

We're not trying to upsell you on a basement you don't need. If you just want drywall and paint, that's what we'll quote. If you want a finished living space with a half bath and a home office, we can do that too.

How it Works

Because the scope of the finishing work depends on what the primary job uncovered (what was removed, what condition the walls and floor are in, etc...) we write a separate contract for the finishing phase. That keeps the pricing honest and the scope accurate.

Here's the typical sequence:

  1. We complete the waterproofing, foundation, or mold work
  2. Once the space is dry and stabilized, we walk through it with you and talk through what you want
  3. We put together a written scope and price before anything starts
  4. Our trades come in and do the work, with Morgan supervising throughout
  5. You end up with a finished basement that's backed by the same company that made it dry

Why Morgan for This??

Newly finished basement with clean walls, columns, and hardwood floors.

We've spent 40 years building relationships with the tradespeople we use. These aren't strangers we found online. They're electricians and plumbers and drywall crews who have worked alongside our team on hundreds of jobs. We know how they work and we trust the quality they deliver.

More practically: when the same company that waterproofed your basement also manages the finishing work, there's no finger-pointing if something comes up. We know exactly what's behind the walls because we put it there.
